Transnational Lacrosse Conference underway in Halifax!

The Transnational Lacrosse Conference kicked off yesterday, with the conference taking place at St. Mary's University, October 2nd-4th.  This conference features some of the best practitioners, cultural experts, academics, players and coaches from around the world, gathering to celebrate the game in multiple fashions. 

Specifically, on Saturday October 4th at Wanderer’s grounds, there will be a skills development session with some of the best lacrosse coaches in North America.  Notables include:  Adam & Amanda Jones, Chris McElroy, Mekwan Tulpin, Cam Bomberry & Lellie Swords (See https://www.facebook.com/transnationallacrosse for biographies).

The skills development session is free for all boys and girls who are registered members of Lacrosse Nova Scotia.  Activities include:  fundamental lacrosse skills (men’s & women’s), lacrosse training techniques/injury prevention, traditional indigenous games (hosted by the Iroquois Lacrosse Program) and other team building activities.
