The Canadian Lacrosse Association (CLA) Safety and Equipment Committee is pleased to announce that the Jukebox JB500 Lacrosse shaft has been approved for use during CLA sanctioned games.

It is important to remind everyone that these products are composite shafts which need to be fitted with the proper head as to follow CLA Box and Men’s Field regulations as stated in the CLA Box rule and situation handbook and CLA Men’s Field Handbook -

Box Stick Regulation

Rule 6 (c) - The player’s stick shall measure not more than 116.84 cm (46"), nor less than 101.6 cm (40") in overall length, and not more than 20.32 cm (8"), nor less than 11.43 cm (4 1/2") in width. The measurement for width is to be inside frame measurement. Nothing may be added to or attached to the outside of the stick.

NOTE: In Pee Wee and all lower divisions, the minimum length of the stick shall be 86.36 cm (34").

Men’s Field Crosse Regulation

Rule 15.1 - The crosse shall be of an overall length of EITHER 40 inches (101.6 centimetres) to 42 inches (106.68 centimetres) (short crosse) OR 52 inches (132.08 centimetres) to 72 inches (182.88 centimetres) (long crosse).

Rule 15.2 - The head of the crosse shall measure between 6 inches (15.24 centimetres) and 10 inches (25.4 centimetres) inside measurement at its widest point.
