Men's Field Nationals - Volunteers Needed!

Fellow Lacrosse enthusiasts,
 
With the Men's Field Lacrosse Nationals quickly approaching below, please find the outline of the volunteer requirements for the weekend. Success of the weekend, like all events of this type, depends on the amazing support of volunteers like yourself! This e-mail is a solicitation for volunteers for the positions provided below and the game times that require support. Please read the information below to determine the types of volunteering you or someone you know would like to do and when you will be available to assist this great event!
 
All volunteers will be fed (Lunch/Dinner), there will be plenty of cold bottles of water on hand, and all volunteers will receive a limited edition Field Nationals Shooter Shirt that only volunteers of the Tournament receive!  
 
The following positions are available/needed:
 
Ball persons (2/game)
Info Booth person (2/game)
Control Room persons (2/game)
Change Tent Attendant (1/game)
Stats person (1/game)
PA Announcer (1/game)
Extra/runners (1/game)
 
The times that volunteers are required are as follows:
 
Thursday night 6:00-9:00pm
 
Friday
10:30-12:00 am
1:30-3:00 pm
3:30-5:00 pm
6:30-8:00 pm
 
Saturday
8:30-10:00 am
10:30-12:00 am
1:30-3:00 pm
3:30-5:00 pm
 
Sunday
8:30-10:00 am
10:30-12:00 am
12:30-3:00 pm
3:00-5:30 pm
 
There are a total of 1 game Thursday, 10 games Friday, 9 games Saturday and 9 games Sunday (29 total) during the times listed above. There is also a schedule attached that you can look through further.
 
Games are being played at either the CPA High School field or Burnside fields, which will be designated based on the position assigned, and it is requested that individuals be at the field at least 20 minutes prior to game time and report to the control Room.
 
Please provide your contact information (Email and Phone number) and availability with preferred positions to Greg Knight at lacrosse@sportnovascotia.ca by August 24th to allow enough time to complete the schedule and inform volunteers of their timings/location, if a volunteer is available for multiple timings and you prefer concurrent games, please indicate and scheduling will take that into account.
 
Anytime you can give will be a tremendous help in executing a great weekend for all participants from across Canada.
