October  14, 2015 – Lacrosse Nova Scotia (LNS) is pleased to announce a partnership with ProEdge Sports Conditioning.

Lacrosse NS, the Provincial Governing body for Lacrosse in NS, is pleased to announce a partnership for the training of their High Performance Program Athletes with ProEdge Sports Conditioning, beginning November 2015.

Located close to Bedford Commons, ProEdge Sports Conditioning is specifically designed to accommodate dryland training for sports teams and athletes. Their 8500 sqft facility has 3600 square feet of turf space, 21 fully stocked power racks and all the latest equipment. While training at their facility, our Midget Flight Program athletes are going to have access to one of the best lacrosse specific training programs around, which is proven to make athletes faster, stronger and more agile with fewer injuries.
All programs will be administered and supervised by Lacrosse NS Staff and ProEdge’s NSCA certified coaches, the gold standard certification for athletic training.

"ProEdge is thrilled to be partnered with LNS and we are 100% committed to improving the overall athleticism of these athletes through professional, cutting-edge training that we know will improve the performance of their sport.", commented Owner of Pro Edge Sports Conditioning, Pat Busby.

A combination of in gym and on-floor training, Lacrosse NS’ Midget Flight Program is in its second year of operation. While in this program athletes receive a daily training program, which has them training at ProEdge Sports two days a week, and has them on-floor learning lacrosse specific drills, and increasing their ‘Lacrosse IQ’.

“We are extremely excited by this partnership”, commented LNS Technical Director, Chet Koneczny. “With this facility, our Flight athletes will have access to one of the best training facilities in the Maritimes, along with access to some of the most knowledgeable strength and conditioning staff in all of Canada. We feel this relationship will help our athletes unlock their athletic potential, which will translate into positive results in competition”.

Registration for Lacrosse NS’ Midget Flight Program is now open on the Lacrosse NS website (www.lacrossens.ca).
