LNS Awards and BBQ following the meeting
   
The following four positions are up for elections and the slate of nominations from the Nominations Committee are as follows;


President – Donna Goguen nominated by the Nominations Committee

VP Finance – Tyler James nominated by the Nominations Committee

VP of Operations– Joe Swann nominated by the Nominations Committee

Secretary – Terri Arsenault nominated by the Nominations Committee

If there are any nominations for the positions above that our membership would like to submit please refer to By-Law 11.
  As in years past, Lacrosse NS and the lacrosse community hosts an awards event that celebrates the outstanding achievements of athletes, teams, coaches, officials, and volunteers from around the province – all of whom have contributed to the sport in Nova Scotia.

This year we will be awarding individuals in the following award categories;

• Male Athlete of the Year
• Female Athlete of the Year
• Team of the Year
• Coach of the Year
• Volunteer of the Year

If you know of anyone who you believe deserves to be nominated for any of the awards listed above, we want to hear from you!

If you wish to submit a team or individual please submit the following to lacrosse@sportnovascotia.ca;
Note: Award submissions without award write-ups WILL NOT be accepted.

• The individual’s first and last name;
• Age division/level involved in;
• Club or league that person is associated with;
• A brief (No more than 150 words) description as to why you feel they should be considered.

The deadline for submitting a nomination will be Wednesday, November 11th.
