The Nova Scotia Department of Health & Wellness – Active Living Branch – Central Region is hosting two CAAWS (Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity) Women and Leadership Program Workshops. The hosting of these workshops are made possible with the support of Halifax Parks and Recreation and Sport Nova Scotia.

CAAWS’ Women and Leadership Program consists of a series of five professional development sessions that blend theory with practical applications, and provide an opportunity for women working or volunteering in the sport, recreation or physical activity sector to share experiences, reflect on ideas and apply specific techniques. The sessions also allow for networking opportunities among participants.
