Read More for information and a link.The NS Senior Lacrosse League has many players represented on the NS Privateers Senior Lacrosse Team coached by Rod and Ellen Humphreys. Many of these players are also our lacrosse volunteers for the senior league, ECJLL coaches, MMLL coaches, NS provincial coaches and LNS Board Members. They are currently at the Aleš Hřebeský Memorial box lacrosse tournament in Prague.
The Aleš Hřebeský Memorial is held by Lacrosse Club Custodes Sokol Radotín to honor its former player who tragically died in the autumn of 1993. Today the Aleš Hřebeský Memorial is the most prestigious box-lacrosse event in Europe with teams from nine countries participating.
Rod has brought a team to this tournament since 2008. The Nova Scotia Privateers started out as the Adanac Warriors making their first trek to Radotín that year and in 2010 became the Nova Scotia Privateers. This will be their 8th trip to Radotin to compete in the Aleš Hřebeský Memorial. They are bringing our core group of the best senior lax players in Nova Scotia along with some players new to the team this year.
