Vote Now To Get Lacrosse On ParticipACTION's 150 Play List

OTTAWA, ON (November 17, 2016) - To celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday, ParticipACTION is creating the ultimate list of all the physical activities that make us Canadian. It’s called the ParticipACTION 150 Play List and we need to make sure lacrosse is on it!

Only 150 activities will make the final list, so the Canadian Lacrosse Association (CLA) would like to encourage the lacrosse community to work together to make sure Canada's national summer sport earns a spot at the top of the list. It's a great opportunity to promote our sport and hopefully get more people interested in playing or watching.

In order to cast your vote, follow these easy steps:
  • Visit www.participACTION.com/150
  • Search through the activity list for Lacrosse
  • Click on the lacrosse player pictogram
    • An orange heart will appear to show your vote was submitted
Remember, you can vote as many times as you'd like before voting closes on December 9, 2016. Let us know you voted by using #150PlayList and tagging @LacrosseCanada on Twitter.

The final ParticipACTION 150 Play List will be unveiled in January 2017 and Canadians will be challenged to complete as many physical activities on the list as possible, track their efforts online and earn rewards along the way.
