Lacrosse Nova Scotia is proud to announce that KJ MacNeil will be the new Technical Director for LNS. KJ stood out in a very strong class of applicants and we are confident that he will fulfill the goals he has laid out for his role as the new TD for LNS. KJ has vast experience as a player and coach which will give him the necessary tools to effectively lead our player and coach development and represent LNS.

From a young age, KJ knew lacrosse was going to play a key role in his life. From his grassroots start in New Brunswick, captaining the first ever New Brunswick junior team at Canada's National Junior tournament, Founders, to playing in the QSLL Senior League in Montreal, KJ has strong passion and know how for the game. He has also played Men's Field lacrosse for his alma mater, St. FX, eventually being named their player-coach.

Additionally, KJ has a great background of coaching experience. From seeing an opportunity to coach a team of midgets from Newfoundland and helping them to represent their province for the first time at Nationals, to mentoring and preparing the Nova Scotia Peewees in 2016, as their head coach, to head coaching the Nova Scotia Female Junior provincial team this year, KJ has brought his expertise to the table. KJ is also an assistant coach with the Dartmouth Bandits Junior A team in the East Coast Jr Lacrosse League. KJ has coached at various levels of the sport, giving him a diverse skill set. KJ has been an integral part of the LNS Midget Flight program, LNS's high performance stream, as a facilitator and trainer.  His motivation to advance his coaching credentials in the past few years prove his commitment to being a coach leader and mentor.

Lacrosse Nova Scotia is very happy to have KJ join our staff and work with our Board for the betterment of lacrosse in NS, continue to improve our high performance program and to help us grow our grassroots! Welcome, KJ!
