\'Honour Our Game\' Campaign

Dear Member Associations,

The Canadian Lacrosse Association's Indigenous Development Committee (IDC) has created the slogan of "Honour Our Game", along with the image below, to provide a positive campaign for our sport of lacrosse.

The image has four crucial components:

• First and foremost, the slogan of "Honour Our Game", which promotes respect, reverence, and veneration to the game of lacrosse.
   
• The second component is the CLA logo, which honours modern day lacrosse and their continued governance across Canada.
   
• The third component is the eagle feathers, which acknowledges of lacrosse's Indigenous roots. Moreover, the feathers signify strength, power, and respect, all of which are crucial elements to the game of lacrosse.
   
• Lastly, the double-ringed circle elicits the principles community, fraternity, and equality, as well the conglomeration of past, present, and future by encapsulating lacrosse's Indigenous roots, as well as the CLA and IDC's vision of the future of lacrosse.

The IDC would like to acknowledge the financial support of the Canadian Lacrosse Foundation for helping make this sticker project and campaign possible.

These CSA approved helmet stickers will be distributed nationwide via Member Associations for all lacrosse participants. We ask that you provide each club/team with a copy of the Coaches Instructions page, which will allow them to explain the meaning behind the campaign and stickers to their players prior to placing them on their helmets.
