The Thunderbirds were welcomed by Millbrook drummers and dancers and traditional welcomes by Mikmaq leaders, Mayor Savage and Deputy Mayor Tony Mancini and other government officials. There were prayers given by Catherine Martin, from Millbrook, and also from Six Nations leadership.
Today, they will have a jersey reveal at the Scotiabank Centre and all are welcome to attend that at 5:30 (Oct 1).
