LNS Bulletin-COVID-19

Lacrosse Nova Scotia (LNS) is monitoring the status of COVID-19 and recommendations from the Government of Canada, the Government of Nova Scotia and Sport Nova Scotia.  Due to the current state of emergency and restrictions on recreation facilities in our province, LNS is continually reviewing what the 2020 Indoor Box Season will look like.
 
This does NOT mean that there will be no box lacrosse in 2020.  The LNS Board of Directors, along with our Member Clubs, Leagues and Teams, are discussing options for programming, such as a reduced season length, player development camps, a hybrid box/field season, just to name a few possible alternatives.  In addition, there have been no decisions with respect to CLA National Events at this time.
 
All sanctioned, ‘in person’ lacrosse activities and events are still suspended until further notice.
 
LNS is developing and will provide online coach and referee certification options and will continue to provide information and promotion through social media, and our website, during this time.  Please follow all the public health directives and STAY SAFE!
