LNS Return to Lacrosse Update

Lacrosse Nova Scotia's Return to Lacrosse Plan was put together after a series of committee meetings involving both LNS board members and lacrosse sector leaders.  It is aimed to allow a safe, phased restart of lacrosse activity, in line with public health guidelines.  Our priority is the safety of the lacrosse community and everyone who would like to give lacrosse a try.  It is a slow start strategy to get 'sticks in hands', to give it a try or to get back on the field and in the arena with skills and drills.

As public health directives change in the coming months, our Plan will allow for modified game play, within social distancing and gathering size allowances.  Our lacrosse Clubs, Leagues and Independent Teams will submit any programming plans to Lacrosse Nova Scotia and we will work together to sanction these programs and plans, with mandatory compliance, for the safety of all.

Programming sanctioned by Lacrosse Nova Scotia, ensures proper insurance coverage and controlled risk managment.  We work with our Membership, the facilities and their Facility Plans, so that everyone can have a fun, safe, positive and cooperative experience.  We invite everyone to read through out plan because by educating ourselves on the risks and how they will be managed, we can all feel secure and get back to the sport that we love.
