IDEA: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility

Lacrosse Nova Scotia is the Provincial Sport Organization whose Principles and Mission are in keeping with those of Sport Nova Scotia.  We are the body who substantially fulfills the Sport Canada definition of a sport (lacrosse). We are recognized by our National Sport Organization (Lacrosse Canada) and are the sole, or Provincial Government recognized, representative body for lacrosse in Nova Scotia.

LNS is registered and currently active under the Societies Act of Nova Scotia
Our current bylaws and named officers/directors are on file at Sport Nova Scotia for public record.

LNS has insurance coverage protecting players, coaches, referees, volunteers, employees, and the organization.  We have policies and procedures to prevent and/or address abuse/harassment.  We are now further developing our policies, along with Lacrosse Canada and Sport Nova Scotia to ensure that the principles of inclusion, diversity, equity and assessibility are prioritized by our sport in Nova Scotia.
