Lacrosse Nova Scotia is a Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund Recipient!

 
The need for support is apparent as our sport had our spring box lacrosse season cancelled and our fall field lacrosse season sharply curtailed.
Along with Jumpstart, we understand the role sport plays in the health and well -being of kids and their families and are doing everything possible to help our sport continue.  With Jumpstart’s support, we are able to provide rebuild and restart programming in our off-season to help bridge the gap and retain our dedicated lacrosse players, coaches, officials and volunteers. 

It will also allow Lacrosse Nova Scotia to support for all our Clubs, Leagues and Teams to provide rebuild and restart programs. It will help our volunteers to execute public health directives to keep all our participants safe at these events.  It will allow Lacrosse Nova Scotia to provide Try Lacrosse programs to under-served populations in our community.

We know this is just a stopgap and there’s more work to be done, but we’re doing our part and as we emerge from these challenging times and return to play will be more important than ever.  We are extremely grateful for this Jumpstart Sport Relief funding to help us keep Lacrosse, Canada’s official summer sport, alive.
