LNS is now accepting nominations for our annual awards, and we want to your help in finding the best nominations. For more information on how to submit your nomination click 'Read More'.As in years past, Lacrosse NS and the lacrosse community hosts an awards event that celebrates the outstanding achievements of athletes, teams, coaches, officials, and volunteers from around the province – all of whom have contributed to the sport in Nova Scotia.
These individuals represent the best of amateur sport, not only by virtue of their athletic achievement but also through their dedication and commitment to sport, and in our case, to the sport of lacrosse.
This year we will be awarding individuals in the following award categories;
• Male Athlete of the Year
• Female Athlete of the Year
• Team of the Year
• Coach of the Year
• Volunteer of the Year
If you know of anyone who you believe deserves to be nominated for any of the awards listed above, we want to hear from you!
If you wish to submit a team or individual please submit the following to lacrosse@sportnovascotia.ca;
• The individual’s first and last name;
• Age division/level involved in;
• Club or league that person is associated with;
• A brief (No more than 150 words) description as to why you feel they should be considered.
The deadline for submitting a nomination will be Friday, November 25th.
